We’re looking for experienced front end / UI developers to join the Spider team – enthusiastic, talented individuals who can work closely with our project managers and developers. People who can produce strong designs and develop them to modern web standards. We need candidates who are strong on usability and accessibility; with a passion and understanding for how interactive experiences should look, feel and function on desktop and mobile devices.
We take huge pride in delivering great projects and campaigns for top brands and organisations. As such, you’ll be working with a number of key clients on a diverse range of projects across web and mobile.
Personal skills:
– Strong sense of design and aesthetics
– Focus on user experience and customer journey
– Comfortable working within a team (project manager and other developers)
– Strong communication skills with the ability to explain and justify design decisions
– Understanding of the latest web technologies
Technical skills:
– Ability to take a brief to wireframe, creative concept then fully responsive HTML/CSS build
– Full working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Miro
– Expertise in JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, etc
– Experience with RESTful services and APIs
– Experience using version control (Git)
– Experience working with content management systems (CMS) including Drupal and WordPress
– Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL
– Ability to develop to W3C standards
