The Challenge

An ancient university, a beautiful setting and a huge range services and facilities, from weddings to student accommodation and conferences to catering - and our challenge was to bring this all together into a cohesive and coherent whole...

The Solution

Starting from a blank canvas we researched and developed all designs, themes and style-sheets (in line with the University’s brand guidelines) to produce a new, visually appealing and functional site that transforms the visitor’s experience. A 'venue finder' search facility was built to allow visitors to select available conference & event venues based on personal requirements. The CMS that underpins the site gives the University full control of news and forthcoming events sections, allowing Campus Services to keep visitors informed and up-to-date.

The Result

Spider’s work was extremely well received, with the improvements in functionality and skillful use of visuals all leading to increased usage of the site. The feedback from the University was excellent and the quality of our work and account management led to Spider Online developing and producing another eight different sections for the Campus Services websites for the University.
