In typical Spider fashion, everyone is concentrating so much on the Fantasy Football league that the Manager of the Month blog updates have been left trailing behind.

Following our backlog of awards we can now bring you up to date with February and March for the Momentumspk Spider Online Prem…

As mentioned in our previous update, John Campbell (MD, Spider Online) was leading February with 197 points and managed to hold on in the last week to take his 2nd award of the season.

John now finds himself in situation where he still has a battle for 2nd place (against Tony Jervis) but is also in with a good chance of taking 1st.

Tony Jervis (MediaCom & Man Utd fan) has ironically turned to Man City players and more notably Carlos Tevez. His return to action shot Tony back into title contention with 2 goals and 2 assists in his first week. Mr. Jervis had the following to say:

“That was the week that was.......If only the next 4 weeks go as well I might give Gianni a scare!”

With Man City now top of the Premier League, who wonders if Tony may just have jinxed his own team ;-)

Further down the table we have Julie Gamble in strong competition with Lesley Connelly for the leagues Ladies Prize. Until recently Lesley had been leading quite comfortably before Julie Gamble shot up the table.

Julie’s fine form saw her take the Manager of the Month award for March and with only the FA Cup Final and a couple league games to go, the gap between the ladies has been reduced to only 20 points.

As you can see, there is still a lot to play for with £100 to the overall winner and a bottle of bubbly for the winner of the ladies competition…
